Cabinet discusses J&K Budget 2025-26

Jammu, Mar 3: The cabinet headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday discussed J&K Budget 2025-26.

Sources said that the cabinet which met here Monday evening discussed the budget which would be presented in the J&K Assembly on March 7.

“The Finance Secretary briefed the cabinet about budget proposals and figures,” sources said. “The financial situation of J&K was also discussed threadbare during the meeting.” They said that the budget would now go to the Lieutenant Governor for approval. It would be the first time that the CM would present the budget of J&K in the Assembly.

Sources said that the cabinet also discussed the upcoming Khelo India Winter Games slated to be held in Gulmarg from March 9 to 12.
