Business community seeks installation of CRM at J&K Bank Gund
The business community in the Gund area of Ganderbal has demanded the installation of a Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) at the Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch located at the Tehsil headquarters.
Locals said the branch witnesses heavy footfall daily, forcing customers to wait in long queues for hours. “There is always a huge rush, and it takes a lot of time to deposit or withdraw cash,” said Imtiyaz Ahmad, a shopkeeper from Gund.
Traders said the installation of a CRM would ease customer load and streamline cash transactions. “We are businessmen and have to visit the bank frequently. A CRM is the need of the hour,” they said, appealing to the JK Bank management to address the issue on priority.
A senior bank official said a CRM has already been installed at the branch and will be made functional after system updation
