Burn Hall school concludes 22nd winter skiing course at Gulmarg
Tangmarg, Jan 31: Burn Hall School successfully wrapped up its 22nd Winter Skiing Course at Gulmarg, with around 120 students participating across basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.
The closing ceremony, as per a press release, was attended by distinguished guests and school officials, highlighting the school's dedication to promoting winter sports.
The event was also attended by Fr. John Paul, Fr. Premful, and Fr. Bhagya.
Addressing the gathering, Fr. Bhagya encouraged the students for their dedication and expressed gratitude to the parents for allowing their children to take part in the skiing courses.
He also extended his appreciation to Jammu and Kashmir Police, particularly DySP Tangmarg, Mr Faizan, for their constant support during the event.
Fr. Bhagya also thanked JKTDC for providing accommodation and expressed gratitude towards Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation and Jammu and Kashmir Tourism for their assistance in making the skiing courses a success.
The closing ceremony was graced by Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Deputy Manager of Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation, as the Chief Guest, while Senior Instructor Muzamil Ahmad Dar from Youth Services and Sports was the Guest of Honour.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants, marking yet another milestone in Burn Hall School’s commitment to promoting winter sports among students.
