Burglars loot 2 shops in Sopore
Sopore, Dec 6: The burglars struck and looted two shops during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday and decamped with goods worth lakhs of rupees in Sopore town.
The burglars looted the “Jhelum Textile” shop of Ghulam Nabi Khan and other cloth shop of Bashir Ahmad Matoo at Goal market Main chowk Sopore and decamped with clothes and other valuables worth lakhs.
Earlier, Jhelum Textile faced an attempt of loot by burglars fifteen days before.
Meanwhile, President Traders Federation Sopore Haji Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie, expressed concern over the burglary incident in town and urged the authorities to check these rising burglary incidents and prevent those coming from other parts of north Kashmir for burglary in this business hub.
Police said that the case in this regard stands registered in police station Sopore, while as a manhunt has been launched to nab the robbers.
