Bureaucracy intentionally undermining govt's functioning: Mir Saifullah
Kupwara, Nov 25: National Conference (NC) senior leader and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Trehgam Mir Saifullah Monday strongly criticised the bureaucracy, alleging that it was intentionally undermining the government's functioning.
They want to create problems and weaken the position of this government. He went on to say that the bureaucracy want to demean the government before the common people. Mir was talking to media in Kupwara during his public outreach programme.
Mir while referring to the unabated hike in electricity tariff said that because of the feeble economic conditions, people were unable to pay electricity bills which have been increased manifold in the recent times. "After completion of public outreach programmes in my constituency, I will certainly meet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to apprise him people are really suffering due to hike in electricity tariffs," he added.
"People of Jammu and Kashmir have elected this government for their benefit. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on the floor of the house and outside the assembly has maintained that what ever has been mentioned in the election manifesto will be provided to the people," he added.
He said that Omar Abdullah was serious to fulfill the promises made during election.
