Building gutted in Chatroo fire

Ramban, Oct 23: In a fire incident a Madrassa running in a private building in Chatroo area of Kishtwar was destroyed on Wednesday afternoon.

However, officials said no loss of life or injury to any student was reported in this fire incident.

Official sources said a massive fire broke out in a private building in which a Madrassa Saraj Ul Uloom was running.

They said on getting information Army, police and fire and emergency services rushed to the spot to control the fire spreading to adjoining structures. They said fire was brought under control but till then a double storey building in which Madrassa was running was completely destroyed.

It is mentioned here that in the month of May,6, 2024,the building of Madarsa Sirajul Uloom was destroyed and since then this Madrassa was running in a private double story building offered by some local residents. An official of fire and emergency services Kishtwar quoting eyewitness informed that fire broke out due to electric short circuit.

He further said no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident fire incident.
