Budshah Nagar residents decry power outages

Srinagar, July 17: Residents of Budshah Nagar have complained against prolonged power cuts saying this has severely affected their normal life.

“Our locality has been experiencing prolonged power outages with electricity being cut off for almost the entire day. This has caused immense inconvenience and disruption to our daily lives,” said a delegation from the locality.

“Despite multiple complaints to the Power Development Department (PDD), there has been no significant improvement in the situation. The lack of reliable electricity affects our work, education, and overall quality of life. It is especially challenging for those who rely on electricity for essential medical equipment and for students preparing for their exams,” Talhah Bilal a local rued.

The residents appealed Chief Engineer PDD to look into the matter.
