BSF soldier injured in Akhnoor

Jammu, Sep 11: A soldier of the Border Security Force (BSF) Wednesday sustained injuries “in unprovoked firing from across the border” in the Akhnoor area of Jammu district.

“At 2:35 am, an incident of unprovoked firing in Akhnoor area from across the border happened. Firing was befittingly responded to, by the BSF,” PRO BSF Jammu said.

One BSF soldier sustained injuries in the Pak firing, he said, adding, “Troops are on high alert.”
