BSF personnel dies in accidental fire in Akhnoor

Jammu, Oct 21: A Head Constable of Border Security Force (BSF) died of gun shot injury that he suffered due to accidental weapon discharge.

The deceased has been identified as HC Satay Narayan Swami of 171 BSF Battalion who was posted at Markula in Pargwal sector of border in Jammu Akhnoor.

The BSF personnel reportedly received gunshot injury as his weapon went off accidentally with police have set into motion necessary investigation and legal proceedings into the matter.
