BSF opens fire after observing suspicious movement in Jammu’s RS Pura

Jammu, Jan 01: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel opened fire after observing suspicious movement from Pakistani side in the RS Pura sector on the midnight of New Year.

Quoting sources, the news agency JKNS reported that late-night alert troops of BSF in RS Pura sector opened fire at suspicious movement from Pakistan.

Adding that, over a dozen rounds were fired by the BSF sentry after detecting the movement.

Following the incident, search operations have been launched in the forward areas to ensure no infiltration attempts occurred, sources added.
