BSF jawan dies after falling unconscious in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 06: A BSF jawan died after he fell unconscious in Pantha chowk area of central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Sunday.

An official told news agency JKNS that BSF Jawan identified as Biplab Singh, resident of West Bengal, suddenly fall unconscious in Pantha Chowk.

He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where doctors on duty declared him brought dead, he said.

After completion of medico-legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to the concerned unit for further disposal, he said.

Meanwhile investigation has been taken up, official added.
