Bootlegger arrested in Ramban: Police

Ramban, Aug 26: Police arrested a bootlegger with 74 bottles of liquor in Ramban on Monday.

A team of Police led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Ramban arrested the bootlegger while the Police team was patrolling and the person selling liquor in the town, Police said.

It said that during search, 74 bottles of liquor were recovered from his possession and he was arrested on the spot.

Police identified the bootlegger as Ranjeet Singh of Gandhri, Ramban.

He was booked vide case FIR No 202 of 2024, under Section 48(a) of the Excise Act, at Police Station Ramban.
