Bohipora-Kupwara road lies in dilapidated condition
Residents of Bohipora and other adjacent villages accused the authorities on Sunday of failing to repair their road, causing significant hardship for locals.
They stated that the road is dotted with potholes, making travel a back-breaking exercise. "There cannot be much injustice to our village, as it is only 1 km away from the main town of Kupwara, yet we have been ignored," they said.
"Currently, while macadamization is ongoing in different areas of the district, it seems our road will not be macadamized this year either," they added.
Notably, Government Degree College Kupwara is situated on the same road, and students studying there often complain about its poor condition.
The locals have appealed to the higher authorities to macadamize the road to provide them with relief.
