Body of missing youth fished out from Jhelum

Srinagar, Feb 25: Body of a missing youth was found in river Jhelum at Safa Kadal here today.

An official said that the body was shifted to SMHS Hospital for medico-legal formalities. He said that the deceased was identified as Basharat Ahmad Bhat of the Naid kadal locality of Downtown.

“The family of the deceased had filed a missing report at our police station on the 8th of this month. We had started an investigation in this regard. His body was today found in river Jhelum” police said.
