Kupwara, Oct 25: The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), the Army's 30 RR, and the Handwara Media Association jointly organised a blood donation camp at Langate, aiming to provide life support to those who desperately need it in times of emergency.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Manzoor Ahmad, Head of the Blood Centre at GMC Handwara, who was joined by civilians and army personnel. A total of seventy blood units were donated by Red Cross volunteers, soldiers, and media representatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Handwara Media Association President Tarique Raheem stated, "Our single drop of blood can save precious lives, so we should participate in such programmes for the safeguard of humanity."
