Blood donation camp held at Gund

Kangan, Mar 9:  Awaaz Aur Ehsaas foundation, an NGO in collaboration with the Civil Society Tehsil Gund (CSTG) on Saturday organised a blood donation camp at Gund tehsil of Kangan in Ganderbal district.

The event saw an overwhelming response, with people particularly youth coming together to contribute towards the noble cause of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. The blood donation camp was organised in association with SMHS hospital Srinagar. The organisers said the event is aimed to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation and its life-saving impact.

They said a total of 115 units of blood were donated by individuals of all age groups, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants. They added that such blood donation camps will be organised in future as well.
