Srinagar, Oct 8: The Rotary Club of Kashmir, in collaboration with RED DROP, Children Hospital Bemina, and JNLM Hospital, organised a blood donation camp at Central Jail Srinagar, which saw the participation of 101 CISF personnel, according to a statement issued by the organisers.

The camp witnessed active involvement from staff and volunteers, with CISF personnel reportedly playing a leading role as blood donors. The event was further highlighted by the presence of blood donation champions Shabbir Hussain (“Blood Man of Kashmir”) and Bilquis Ara (“Blood Woman of Kashmir”), whose participation inspired increased awareness and enthusiasm among attendees.

SSP Jail Sheikh Zulfikar Azad lauded the collaboration, praising the CISF personnel’s dedication and the unity displayed by all stakeholders. “The selfless service shown by CISF personnel sets an example for all and strengthens the fabric of our society,” he said.
