BJP working for welfare of underprivileged people: Ashok Koul
Reasi, Jan 4: J&K BJP General Secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul today said that his party is working for welfare and upliftment of underprivileged people but not just for electoral gains.
According to a press release, he was addressing senior party workers’ meeting here. Koul asked the party cadre to assimilate the spirit of public service within themselves in the path to a better and developed society.
The BJP leader praised the district level party leaders and prompted them to put in more efforts towards their dedicated works in reaching up to the needy families and the target groups for various welfare schemes of the Modi government. He, especially, focused on the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” and the “PM Vishwakarma Yojana” and termed these as the flagship schemes initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union Government to reach the poorest of the poor in order to uplift and maintain their dignified living.
