BJP will resist any move on Article 370 in Assembly: Sat Sharma

Srinagar, Nov 04: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K president Sat Sharma Monday said that the party will resist any move on Article 370 in Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir.

While commenting on PDP MLA Waheed Para’s move on Article 370, he said that all 28 BJP MLAs opposed the resolution brought forwarded by one of the MLAs seeking the restoration of Article 370.

He said that some people do not want peace in Jammu and Kashmir, and added that BJP will not let them succeed in their designs.

He at the occasion praised party senior leader and former BJP J&K president Ravinder Raina for his immense contribution in consolidating party in Jammu and Kashmir.

“BJP is the largest party in terms of vote share and we are committed to working for the welfare of the people. I am committed to take party to the next level in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
