BJP supports action against MLA Mehraj Malik

Jammu, Sep 8: BJP has welcomed the detention of Mehraj Malik MLA Doda West and President AAP J&K under Public Safety Act.

In a press statement issued today Adv Parimoksh Seth Spokesperson BJP J&K welcomed the detention of Mehraj Malik under Public Safety Act. Seth said that some fragile elements have entered politics and are indulging in using abusing and unparliamentary language against the general public and public functionaries.

“These elements not only cause damage to the social fabric of the nation but also to public sentiments. The public representatives are required to work for the welfare of the public but entry of such elements has not only caused damage to public welfare but also to the society at large,” he said.

The use of unparliamentary words against the female family members of family DC Doda are highly condemnable. Seth further said that Mehraj Malik is a “habitual trouble maker” as he has a history of indulging in such acts in past also including misbehaviour. Seth said that “AAP has failed to take action against its president of J&K unit and it appears that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal is supporting such acts of Mehraj Malik.” Seth said that it the high time to deal with all such elements in accordance with the law so that public confidence is upheld in the administration. Seth requested the administration to take strict action against all such elements who indulges in anti national and anti social activities for the welfare of nation and for the welfare of public, said the press release.
