BJP suffered defeat for ignoring people: NC’s Surinder Chowdhary
Rajouri, Oct 9: Defeating J&K BJP’s President Ravinder Raina is not only a success for him but a message from people that there is anger among them who want to throw BJP out of power corridors.
This has been stated by Surinder Chowdhary who won the assembly election from Nowshera on NC’s mandate and defeated Raina.
“If a party in power loses the seat of its president then one can imagine the level of anti incumbency and anger among the voters,” Choudhary said.
He also took a dig at BJP State President Ravinder Raina, former MLA Nowshera, saying that he (Raina) did nothing for issues of people in last 10 years.
“There were immense issues to deal with but he (Ravinder Raina) did nothing and this is the reason for which last 10 years will be scripted in dark pages of history,” he said.
He mentioned about some main issues of Pir Panjal region including lack of employment opportunities, Mughal Road tunnel project, and Rajouri Poonch railway line project.
“I want to assure my people that no required effort will be left to address the problems and to take up protects of public welfare,” he said.
Taking further dig at BJP, Surinder said that a number of anti people decisions have been taken by BJP in last 10 years in J&K and this is the reason for which people have voted against them and even led to defeat of their State President.
He further alleged misuse of official machinery by BJP in elections.
