BJP hurt democracy, constitution: Congress spokesperson

Srinagar, Jan 11: All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Meem Afzal today said that BJP during its 10 year long rule at the centre hurt the people, democracy and the constitution.

He was addressing a press conference here. Meem Afzal described the 10 year rule of BJP as 10 years of grave injustice.

“BJP government has severely hurt our people, our democracy, and our constitution. Unprecedented unemployment has completely shattered the dreams and future of our youth. The backbreaking price rise has extinguished the hard-earned savings of our poor and middle-class. Income Inequality is at its peak,” the Congress leader said.

He alleged that a handful of billionaires rule and puppet the present dispensation.“SCs, STs, OBCs, minority and the poor have been systematically discriminated against,” Meem Afzal said.
