BJP doing exceptionally well in Kashmir: Ashok Koul

Bandipora, Jan 29 : Senior BJP leader Ashok Koul today said that his party is doing exceptionally well in Kashmir and has gained enough foothold .

He added that BJP will not only give a good fight in elections but will also defeat the regional parties by big margin. Koul was talking to the media persons at Bandipora during a workers’ convention here. He said that 100 former sarpanchs and panchs joined the party.

While welcoming the former PRIs into the party fold, he said this would boost the BJP. “I have full faith that with these fresh joining, BJP in Bandipora will become stronger. During the upcoming elections, BJP will become a challenge for other political parties,” Koul said.

He also told Greater Kashmir that the public mood in Kashmir was in favour of the party, which could be “analysed from the participation of huge crowds during the Republic Day function in Srinagar and other party functions”. He said BJP had decided to contest on all the five parliamentary seats with full force and win the seats.
