BJP district vice-president Ramban quits
Ramban, Aug 26: The district vice president BJP for district Ramban Advocate Suraj Singh Parihar resigned from all posts and membership of the party as he was denied ticket from Ramban assembly constituency.
In a press conference here on Monday evening Parihar stated that he had sought a party ticket from Ramban assembly constituency but was disappointed after his name did not figure in the list released by the party on Monday.
Parihar said, “ I have been working for the party for the past 20 years and made every possible effort to strengthen the party in Ramban but unfortunately the party did not recognise my services.”
He informed that he has decided to contest assembly election in Ramban assembly constituency as an independent candidate.
He also leveled allegations against BJP and its nominated candidate from Ramban Rakesh Singh Thakur.
