BJP District President Rajouri meets Vice Chancellor BGSBU

Rajouri, Aug 20:: BJP District President Rajouri, Dev Raj Sharma, met the Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, and held a detailed discussion on student-related concerns and the development of the university.

Speaking after the meeting, Dev Raj Sharma said that he raised issues of student welfare including better hostel facilities, transport connectivity, upgradation of academic resources and modern infrastructure. He stressed the need for the introduction of more skill-oriented and professional courses to enhance employment opportunities for the youth of the Pir Panjal region.

He further said that BGSBU, being the pride of Pir Panjal, must also focus on promoting research, innovation, and extracurricular activities to ensure holistic growth of students.

The leader underlined the importance of a safe and inclusive campus environment, particularly for girl students.
