BJP celebrates Samvidhan Diwas

Jammu, Nov 26: J&K BJP SC Morcha led by its State President & former MLA, Neelam Langeh organised a programme on the “Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day)” at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.

According to a press release BJP State General Secretary and former Minister Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr B R Ambedkar and Bharat Mata attended the programme, the press release said.

Dr Manyal, while addressing the party leaders and activists, prompted all the party leaders to take a pledge in making the India a great Nation, a truly “Vishav Guru” while taking the Nation to its pristine glory. He said that as the dedicated cadre of the organisation," it becomes our prime duty to work for the unification of society by working on principles of Dr B R Ambedkar. November 26 is chosen for the spread of great values embedded in our constitution," he added.

Neelam Langeh, while congratulating the fellow Indians on a pious day, said that the Constitution Day of India is being celebrated after its announcement by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19, 2015. He said that as the perfect tribute to the great leader, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, who had chaired the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly and played a pivotal role in the drafting of the Constitution.
