BJP candidates file nomination papers

Budgam, Sep 5: BJP candidates Dr Ali Mohammad Mir and Zahid Hussain Jan filed their nominations for the Assembly elections in Khansahib and Charar-e-Sharief constituencies, respectively.

According to a press note, Dr Ali Mohammad Mir, the BJP candidate for Khansahib constituency, was accompanied by senior BJP leaders, including former MLC Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, Bhat Imtiyaz, Saba Bhat, Rashida Mir, and District President Budgam Hakeem Rohullah Gazi.

The nomination rally began at the residence of Dr Mir where party leaders addressed the gathered supporters and expressing their confidence in his leadership and commitment to the development of the constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, District President Hakeem Rohullah Gazi emphasised the importance of grassroots-level engagement and urged party workers to strengthen the booth infrastructure to ensure a decisive victory.
