Bike rider killed in road accident

Ramban, June 9: A 21 years old bike rider who suffered critical injuries in a road accident in the Chanderkote area of Ramban on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway recently succumbed on the way to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.

Police sources said a Motorcycle bearing registration number PB36L-0655 skidded on the road in the Chanderkote area on Jammu National Highway on Friday resulting in the bike rider sustaining critical injuries he was rushed to the District Hospital where after medical aid critically injured biker was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment however he succumbed on way Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.

Police identified the deceased student as Sanjeev Kumar 21 son of Parlad Kumar resident of Bihar, at present student of Lovely Professional University Phagwara Punjab.

SHO Police Station Chanderkot Inspector, JS Rakwal confirmed the death of a biker in a Road Traffic Accident in Chanderkote, He further said a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Chanderkote for further investigations.
