BHSS Sopore to open Book Bank to lower financial burden on poor students

Sopore, Mar 19: Under the leadership of Principal Govt Boys Higher Secondary Institute Sopore Mushtaq Sopori, the educational establishment is embarking on an inspiring journey to foster a culture of sharing and collaboration through a Book Bank.

For this innovative initiative, the successful students from grades 9th to 12th enrolled in the school will be invited to contribute their used books to the proposed “Book Bank” creating a reservoir of knowledge accessible to all.  Through the generosity of volunteers and donors, the institute aims to ensure that every student has access to the educational resources they need to succeed.

Principal Mushtaq Sopori said that the good conditioned books will be lent to the students not able to purchase the books from the open market from the proposed Book Bank to minimise the financial burden on their families.

Principal called on the general public to “join us in promoting fellow-feeling and community spirit to enrich the educational experience for all students.” “Let’s build a brighter future together, one book at a time,” he said.
