Bashir Ahmad re-elected as president New Kashmir Fruit Association Parimpora
Srinagar, Nov 13: In a resounding victory, Bashir Ahmad Basheer has been re-elected as the President of the New Kashmir Fruit Association, Fruit Mandi Parimpora, Srinagar, for the 8th time in a row.
The general elections were held today, and witnessed a high voter turnout, with approximately 97% of the members exercising their franchise. Bashir Ahmad Basheer emerged victorious by a huge margin, cementing his position as the leader of the association.
The newly elected office bearers include Anil Kumar as Vice President, Muhammad Ayoub Bhat as General Secretary, AM Reshi as Joint Secretary, Ashfaq Ahmad Jala as Member Accountant, Chowdary Mohammad Shahid as Chairman Trade, and Ali Mohammad Reshi as Chairman Transport. The newly elected members of the association are Umar Jan, Bashir Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Zubair Ahmad, Abdul Qayoom, Mehraj-u-din, Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, and Abdul Hamid Dar.
The elections were conducted peacefully and democratically, reflecting the strong commitment of the association's members to uphold the principles of good governance and transparency. Bashir Ahmad Basheer, in his acceptance speech, expressed his gratitude to the members for their unwavering support and trust.
