Hailing from the old town Baramulla, Yasir Naik conceived the idea to contribute towards the society and ease their travel for the treatment.

Talking to Greater Kashmir, Yasir Naik said the free night e-rickshaw service is available for all the patients of the old town Baramulla up to GMC Baramulla during medical emergencies.

"The motive behind starting this free service is to provide relief to the patients, particularly minors and elderly people who often struggle to find transport during evening hours," he said.

"We often see most of the people do not have their personal vehicles available to ferry the patients to the hospital and the public transport also disappears from roads after evening," he said.

In wake of this, Naik roped in a few E-Rickshaw owners and shared the idea with them to ensure the facility remains easily available for the patients. "The patients are not charged anything by the rickshaw drivers but I deal with them personally. My motive is that no patient should be left waiting for help due to non-availability of transport," he said.
