Baramulla resident impersonating RTO caught in Miran Sahib

Jammu, Aug 11; Police on Monday arrested an individual taking money from people while posing as a Regional Transport Officer (RTO) in Miran Sahib in the Jammu district.

Officials said that the accused, identified as Ashiq Lone, son of Maqbool Lone, a resident of Khwaja Bagh, Baramulla, was arrested after he was caught red-handed extorting money from people in Miran Sahib, R S Pura and Jammu for issuing fake driving licences and other documents.

Police registered a case in this connection at Miran Sahib Police Station and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
