Banihal truck operators resume work after strike
Ramban, Jan 5: Truck Operators’ Welfare Union Banihal have announced the resumption of transport operations after its successful completion of a 48-hour strike on Friday.
Truck operators’ welfare union had gone on strike on the nationwide call given by the truck unions on Wednesday. The Jammu and Kashmir Truck Operators’ Welfare Union ( Banihal Office) appreciates the understanding and cooperation extended by all stakeholders during the strike.
During the strike truck operators remained on strike at truck yard Lambar, Banihal. They demanded roll backing of the law related to hit and run cases
President Jammu and Kashmir Truck Operators Welfare Union Hilal Ahmed Malik said that in the coming days his union aims to facilitate the formation of collective representatives encompassing all transport unions. He said initiative seeks to foster unity, streamline communications, and collectively address pertinent issues affecting the transport sector.
