Banihal school hosts workshop on life skills, leadership
Banihal, Dec 6: KUNAN – The Helping Place organised a one-day capacity-building workshop on “Life skills, entrepreneurship and leadership development” at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Banihal.
The programme aimed to inspire young students to develop confident personalities, explore diverse career paths and strengthen their leadership potential.
Young scholars and resource persons, Dr Basharat Usman Wani and Arfat Ashraf Wani, were invited as keynote speakers.
Their interactive sessions provided students with practical insights into essential life skills, innovative entrepreneurial thinking and the qualities required to become effective leaders in today’s competitive world.
Principal HSS girls Shabir Ahmed Tantray, commended “KUNAN – The Helping Place” for its meaningful initiative and appreciated the speakers for delivering impactful and motivating lectures.
He highlighted the importance of such programmes in shaping students’ futures and preparing them for real-world challenges.
Students actively participated throughout the workshop and expressed great enthusiasm about learning new personality traits, building confidence and discovering fresh avenues for their future careers.
Many participants praised both the organisation and the speakers for creating an empowering and enriching learning environment.
