Relatives and Overground Workers Booked; Multiple CASOs Conducted Across the District

Bandipora, Nov 08: In a major operation aimed at dismantling the ecosystem of terror and subversive activities in the district, Bandipora Police today launched a massive crackdown on J&K Nationals Operating from Pakistan/Pak-Occupied-Kashmir (JKNOP).

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, multiple Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) were conducted in various areas across the district, targeting individuals involved in facilitating, funding, and promoting terrorist activities at the behest of relatives currently based across the border.

During the operation, several relatives and associates of active JKNOP members were booked under relevant provisions of law for their continued involvement in anti-national activities, including providing logistical support, circulating propaganda, and aiding recruitment. Several digital devices and incriminating materials were seized during the raids.

Bandipora Police reiterated its firm commitment to uphold peace and security in the district. The force emphasised that operations against terror support networks will continue with full intensity to ensure their complete dismantling and to maintain lasting peace in the region.

Public cooperation has been sought to report any suspicious activities or persons to the nearest police establishment. The identity of informants shall be kept strictly confidential.
