Bailed out HM terrorists goes missing in Kulgam
Srinagar, Aug 2: A bailed-out terrorist of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist group from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district has gone missing and a massive hunt has been launched to trace him.
The hunt has been launched in south Kashmir as well as Jammu to trace him.
Yasir Javed Bhat of the Behibagh area of Kulgam in south Kashmir had gone missing on July 27.
His family registered a missing report at Police Station Behibagh on July 29.
Since then, security forces have launched a hunt to trace him.
To locate him, Police officials have distributed posters of Bhat across Jammu.
“Hunt has been launched to trace him besides human-int technical apparatus have also been employed for his search,” a senior Police officer said.
Yasir Bhat, a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist was out on bail from his home in south Kashmir's Kulgam district.
He was bailed out in a case related to a grenade attack in Bus Stand Jammu in March 2019.
The attack resulted in the death of two civilians and injuries to 32 others.
The explosion killed Muhammad Riyaz, a 32-year-old resident of Mattan village in Anantnag district, and Muhammad Sharik, a teenager from Uttarakhand.
