BAC discusses provisional calendar

Jammu, Mar 15: Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of J&K Legislative Assembly Saturday held threadbare discussion on provisional calendar issued for the ongoing Budget session 2025.

Since its constitution on March 12, this was its maiden meeting. Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather chaired the meeting while the legislators, including, the Leader of Opposition Sunil Kumar Sharma, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mubarak Gul, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, Gulam Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Fayaz and Choudhary Mohammad Akram attended the meeting. The members gave their valuable suggestions for making the current Assembly budget session more fruitful and result oriented in the largest interest of the general public.

One of the members, who attended the meeting, stated that the meeting was aimed at ensuring smooth function of the House. “All the members expressed satisfaction that House proceedings were going on smoothly. There may be small changes in the provisional calendar. It may be curtailed by a day or two in the month of April.
