Babila Rakwal assumes charge of Mission Director NHM
Jammu, Nov 6: Babila Rakwal, today assumed the charge of Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K, at State Health Society, Nagrota here.
After assuming the charge, Mission Director had an introductory meeting with the officials of State Health Society, NHM, J&K. She emphasised upon them to work with utmost dedication and devotion so that the objectives behind establishment of Mission are achieved in full.
‘National Health Mission envisages achievement of universal access to equitable, affordable and quality healthcare services that are accountable and responsive to people’s needs’, she maintained.
On the occasion, the officers of National Health Mission informed the Mission Director about various components of the Mission and highlighted that NHM places greater emphasis on Health System Strengthening in rural and urban areas especially related to Reproductive-Maternal- Neonatal-Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH A), and Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases.
Following the introductory meeting, Mission Director visited 104 Centralised Health Helpline established at Nagrota, Jammu under J&K National Health Mission through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
