AZMRF, Halqu-e-Adab Sonawari condole demise

Srinagar, Feb 9: Ahad Zargar Memorial Research Foundation (AZMRF) Friday condoled the demise of Abdul Majeed Bhat, father of Muhammad Amin Bhat, President of Adbee Markaz Kamraz (AMK).

A statement of AZMRF issued here said that the foundation held a condolence meeting led by Khurshid Ahmad Zargar at Narwara in Srinagar downtown and expressed sympathies with the family.

Meanwhile, Halqu-e-Adab Sonawari expressed condolences and sympathies on the demise of Abdul Majeed Bhat.

“We, at Halqu-e-Adab Sonawari extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to Muhammad Amin Bhat and his family on the demise of his beloved father. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult period,” the statement said.

Abdul Majeed Bhat breathed his last early Thursday morning after a brief illness.

“His departure has left a void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We express our sincerest condolences to Amin Bhat, his brothers Rafiq Bhat, and Iqbal Majeed, and the entire bereaved family,” the statement said.

Abdul Majeed Bhat was a respected individual who played an instrumental role in fostering religious and cultural ties within the community.

“We would like to assure the family that we stand in solidarity with them during this challenging time. Our entire organization and Halqu-e-Adab Sonawari, are committed to providing unwavering support to the bereaved family and offering any assistance required,” the statement said.

“May the departed soul of Abdul Majeed Bhat rest in eternal peace. May Allah grant strength and solace to his family to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement said.
