Azad not to contest from Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat

Anantnag, Apr 17: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday said that he won't be contesting for Lok Sabha polls 2024 from the strategic Anantnag-Rajouri seat.

Quoting party's president Mohammad Amin Bhat, news agency KNO reported that the party has decided to field advocate Mohammad Saleem Parray for the Anantnag-Rajouri seat.

“I thank my party leadership for nominating me as a candidate for the Anantnag-Rajouri seat. It is an honour for me that I have been given a chance to serve the people of Jammu&Kashmir,” said Mohammed Saleem Parray.
