Azad , Mehbooba, Altaf Bukhari, Tarigami, Mehar Ali condemn Ganderbal killings
Srinagar, Oct 20: Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami and MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali have strongly condemned the killings at Gangangeer in Ganderbal.
Azad posted on twitter, “Strongly condemn the killing of two non local innocent labourers in the Gagangier area in Ganderbal, Kashmir. This is the third killing in the last three days—an act against humanity. The enemies of peace must be dealt with firmly. My condolences to their families and prayers for the injured.”
Mehbooba Mufti posted , “Unequivocally condemn this senseless act of violence against two labourers in Ganderbal. Deepest condolences to their families.”
Altaf Bukhari posted on X, “ It is shocking that terrorists targeted and killed two non-local laborers, and injured two others in the Gagangeer area of Kangan, in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal, where they were working on a tunnel project. This tragic incident occurred just two days after a migrant worker from Bihar was similarly killed by terrorists in south Kashmir's Shopian district on Friday. These innocent laborers are here for their livelihood and to support their families back home. It seems that the perpetrators of such terror attacks are hell-bent on disturbing the prevailing peace.”
Tarigami posted on X, “ A deeply troubling report of yet another terrorist attack on migrant labourers has surfaced from Ganderbal. Barely 48 hours ago, a non-local labourer was killed in Shopian. These despicable attacks appear to be deliberate attempts to disturb peace.”
Mian Mehar Ali posted, “ The brutal killing of non-local laborers at the Z-Morh tunnel in Gangangeer, is heartbreaking. My thoughts are with their families during this tragic time. Prayers for speedy recovery of injured.”
