Azad condemns killing of former Sarpanch in Shopian

Srinagar, May 19: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) President Ghulam Nabi Azad Sunday condemned terrorist attack on former Sarpanch in south Kashmir’s Shopian. He said such acts of violence are against the humanity and must be denounced by all.

He appealed government to take such occurrences seriously and take measures to stop such acts of violence forthwith.

“Strongly condemn the terror attack on former Sarpanch Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh in Heerpora, Shopian. These acts of violence are against humanity and must be denounced by all. The govt must take this seriously; this must stop,” Azad in a post on X said.

Notably terrorists fired upon former Sarpanch of Herpora Shopian last night who however succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
