Azad addresses road show at Nowshera

Rajouri, Apr 30:  Chairman Democratic Progress Azad Party (DPAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad today appealed the people in Rajouri district to vote for his party candidate in Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency.

He made the appeal during a roadshow at Nowshera area of Rajouri district Azad addressed several meetings and also talked to media persons. He stated that as chief minister he did lot of work for the development of the area. “This process of development will continue, if DPAP candidate is elected to Parliament and DPAP later elected to power in assembly polls,” the former chief minister said.

Azad described as justified the demand for rescheduling for polling date in Anantnag-Rajouri constituency. “This constituency is one of its kind parliamentary segment in entire country where a leader has to spend three days and two nights to move from one district to another,”he said.

"Mughal Road is closed and it takes three days and two nights of journey to come Rajouri and Poonch from valley from other side," Azad said adding that this shows how tough is campaign on the seat.
