The 5-year project (April 2024 - March 2029) will be implemented by Himmothan Society and LNP. It aims to increase income and improve living standards for rural hill communities through various livelihood interventions. The programme spans 60 villages in Leh and Kargil districts, supporting 7,500 rural families.

The project will benefit 7,500 tribal families across three clusters (Sham Valley, Changthang, and Kharu & Rong Valley) covering 14 blocks in Ladakh's two districts. It focuses on enhancing livelihoods through improved agricultural and livestock-rearing practices, as well as non-farm interventions.

The project will also demonstrate innovative ideas in agriculture, livestock development, IT, handicrafts, and skill-based activities.
