Awareness programme under ‘Sewa Parv’ held in Budgam

Srinagar, Sep 28: Under “Sewa Parv-2025”, an awareness programme and debate was organised in Government Boys Higher Secondary school Budgam in which the students of institution, teaching faculty and officers/officials of Khag and Budgam Zone under guidance of ZSCO Khag participated.

Speaking on the occasion  Ab Rahim Dar, an official of Soil Conservation Department presented his views.

The Environmental protection is the responsibility of every individual and community, as it ensures the survival and well-being of present and future generations. It involves conserving natural resources, reducing pollution, protecting wildlife, and promoting sustainable practices like recycling, afforestation, and the use of renewable energy. By adopting eco-friendly habits such as minimizing plastic use, conserving water, and reducing carbon emissions, we can maintain the balance of nature and combat challenges like climate change, deforestation, and global warming. A healthy environment not only supports human life but also nurtures all living organisms.
