Awareness programme under DAJGU Abhiyan organised

Bandipora, Nov 23: The District Administration Bandipora today organised an awareness programme on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) at Quilmuqam village, Aloosa Block.

The initiative, aimed at empowering tribal communities and fostering their socio-economic development, witnessed active participation from locals, officials, and representatives from various organizations.

Prominent attendees included District Information Officer Bandipora, Block Development Officer (BDO) Bandipora, and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Aloosa, alongside officials from various line departments who contributed to the event’s success.

Speaking on the occasion, BDO Bandipora underscored the importance of the DAJGUA initiative in enhancing the quality of life for tribal communities. He emphasised that the programme is a significant step toward socio-economic transformation and empowerment of marginalised groups.

The event featured discussions on the objectives and strategies of the programme highlighting its focus on inclusive development. ZEO Aloosa and other officials emphasised the critical role of inter-departmental coordination in achieving the programme’s goals.
