Awareness programme on prevention of allergies held at JLNM Hospital
Srinagar, July 2: The Department of Medicine JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, organised CME, 'Allergy Alert- Alleviating Allergies today.
The organisers said this was the first-of-its-kind at secondary level care, this event marks a new beginning in Health Services and was attended by more than 100 delegates.
Noted clinicians like Prof Naveed Nazir Shah, Prof Roohi Rasool , Prof Reyaz Malik , Dr Ghulam Hassan and Dr Mir Faisal delivered guest lecture sessions. Many researchers, scientists, academicians, shared their experiences with the aim to contribute to the goal of further advancing allergy research and clinical practice for the betterment of human health.
Allergy CME 2024 offered a fine place to share scientific knowledge through oral and poster presentation by graduate and postgraduate students.
“The CME intended to instill a strong belief that by integrating allergy and it's characteristics with other medical conditions like asthma and pregnancy can provide a healthy milieu,” said Dr Shahzada the organising chairperson of the event.
She added that JLNM has started Customised Allergy Services from last around 6 months and provides comprehensive care at par with other Allergy mitigation service providing institutions.
