The ALC elaborated that the four labour codes include the Code on Wages, Code on Social Security, Code on Industrial Relations, and the Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions. He said these codes have been introduced to simplify and consolidate existing labour laws, ensure better protection of workers’ rights, promote ease of doing business, and bring transparency in employer-employee relations.
