Jammu, Nov 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Sunday promised equitable and inclusive development in Jammu and Kashmir.
An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that during this month’s ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ programme, the LG reiterated the resolve of J&K administration to promote equitable and inclusive development, based on the ideals of B R Ambedkar.

“The principal architect of the Indian constitution and one of the greatest social reformers of India, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar had observed in constituent assembly that social democracy means that way of life which recognizes liberty, equality and fraternity as principles of life,” he said. “Through his speech, Baba Saheb had drawn the country's attention towards social equality. In the last 9 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this cherished goal has been realised and a record 13.5 crore people moved out of multidimensional poverty.”

We must make mutual cooperation a permanent feature in the development journey of our villages.”
