Avni Chabbra wins gold at National Aquatic Championship

Pathankot, Aug 18: Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot, is thrilled to announce that Avni Chabbra, a class 11 student, has won the gold medal in the 50m breaststroke event at the prestigious 50th Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championship, a statement said.

In addition to this achievement, she was honored by Suryabanshi Suraj, Minister of Sports & Youth Services Department, Odisha. This exceptional accomplishment has brought immense pride to her school and the broader community.

Avni’s victory in the highly competitive event is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and relentless pursuit of excellence in swimming. Competing against the nation’s best young swimmers, she secured the top spot with an outstanding performance. Following her win, Avni received the prestigious honor from  Suryabanshi Suraj, recognising her as a rising star in Indian swimming.

The school's Chairman,Vinod Mahajan, expressed his pride in Avni's achievement, stating, "Avni has made the entire school and community proud.

Her victory and the subsequent recognition by the Sports Minister are shining examples of what our students can achieve with determination and perseverance." Vice-Chairman, Akash Mahajan, also congratulated Avni, emphasizing that her win is a significant milestone not just for her but for the entire school. He remarked, "Avni's dedication to her sport is truly inspiring. Her accomplishments set a high standard for her peers."
